Casting for The Sleeping Beauty announced
Casting for the upcoming NBoC production of The Sleeping Beauty has been announced. Ms. Ogden will dance the lead role, Princess Aurora, on March 10 and 14 at 7:30 pm and March 17 at 2:00 pm. Ms. Ogden’s husband and fellow NBoC Principal Dancer Guillaume Côté will dance Prince Florimund for all three shows.
Choreography is by Rudolf Nureyev, adapted from the original by Marius Petipa, with music by Tchaikovsky. More information about the ballet and a link for ticket-buying are available here. Also at that link is a video of Ms. Ogden in rehearsal for the famous Rose Adagio.
