Ms. Ogden graduated from The Richmond Academy of Dance in 1998. She joined the National Ballet of Canada as an apprentice the same year, and was named a member of the Corps de Ballet in 1999. She was promoted to Second Soloist in 2002 and to First Soloist after her third unscheduled performance of Swan Lake in 2003. In May 2005, she was made a Principal Dancer. “Critics have waxed on about the five-foot-six-and-a-half dancer’s daring physical feats, lyrical poeticism and flawless technique. She’s a powerful dancer on the road to greatness, they say.” (Richmond Review 22/09/05)At this web site we will keep you up to date on Ms. Ogden’s performances and achievements. She has graciously given me permission to organize a fan club that will bring together everyone who appreciates and admires ballet at its very best! Steph.
