Casting for NBoC’s The Nutcracker Announced
Casting has been announced for The National Ballet of Canada’s production of The Nutcracker. Ms. Ogden will be dancing the role of the Sugar Plum Fairy, with Guillaume Côté as Peter/The Nutcracker, on December 22 & 28 at 5:30 pm and December 31 at 1:00 pm. More info and tickets are available here.

Casting for NBoC’s Production of The Nutcracker Announced
Casting has been announced for NBoC’s production of The Nutcracker. Ms. Ogden will dance the role of The Sugar Plum Fairy, with Guillaume Côté as Peter/ The Nutcracker, on Opening Night December 19 at 7:00 pm, December 22 at 2:00 pm, and December 23 at 5:30 pm. Music is by Tchaikovsky and choreography by James Kudelka. More information about the production and tickets can be found here.

Ms. Ogden dances the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker
NBoC has announced casting for this year’s production of The Nutcracker. Ms. Ogden will dance the role of the Sugar Plum Fairy in the opening performance, on Saturday, December 10 at 2:00 pm, with Guillaume Côté, as Peter/The Nutcracker. Ms. Ogden and Mr. Côté will dance the same roles on December 11 at 1:00 pm and on December 28and 30 at 5:30 pm. Ms. Ogden and Mr. Côté are, of course, married in real life. It is always wonderful to see them dance together.

Ms. Ogden as the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker
Casting has been announced for NBoC’s 2009 production of The Nutcracker. Ms. Ogden will be dancing the role of the Sugar Plum Fairy on Saturday December 12th and Saturday December 19th, both at 7:00 pm, and on Sunday December 20th and Wednesday December 23rd, both at 5:30 pm. Ms. Ogden and Mr. Coté dance in New Westminster B.C.
Ms. Ogden and Guillaume Côté will be dancing in a production of The Nutcracker with the Richmond Academy of Dance on December 4th. Ms. Ogden trained at the Academy before joining NBoC. Ms. Ogden in the National Post’s Blog
Ms. Ogden was Guest Editor of the National Post’s blog The Ampersand this weekend. The Post invited National Ballet of Canada dancers performing in The Nutcracker to take turns as editor of the blog. Ms. Ogden wrote about “Sugar Plums and Pointe Shoes.”
